An Important Message from Dr. John Sites, Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs
It is our hope that this message is reaching you safely on the other side of Hurricane Matthew, that you and your families are safe and didn’t suffer too much damage from the storm. Hurricane Matthew has impacted many more students, faculty, and staff than anticipated; therefore, the University has made a decision regarding all online, graduate and on-ground students. There will be an extension on all assignments and/or exams that were scheduled to be handed in by Sunday 10/9/16 or Monday 10/10/16 at midnight. The extension will run until Thursday 10/13/16 at midnight. This extension will allow students extra time to complete and submit their assignments; however, the schedule for the ending of the courses, term and semester will remain as scheduled. The University also understands that there may be situations that will need to be looked at individually. In such cases, students should reach out to the campus deans. Campus deans are asked to be flexible with respect to unusual circumstances that may exist as a result of the hurricane.
We ask that you remain safe first and foremost. Please be alert that subsequent memos may be sent regarding the opening of campuses and the scheduling of academic courses for next week. Many thanks to the faculty and other university personnel for their cooperation and assistance. We wish all students a rapid successful return to their academic studies. Please contact your instructor or campus deans should you need additional support or have academic issues.

The Daytona Beach campus of Keiser University will be open for students and normal class schedules on Wednesday, 10/12/16. All other campuses of Keiser University are operating normal class schedules. Thank you.
My instructors believed in me. They were more than instructors, they tried to get to know you as a person and tried to understand your goals so they could push you towards them. Student services helped me find a job before I even graduated. Everyone was dedicated to my overall success.
