Keiser University’s Faces of Leadership campaign celebrates the critical role of female leaders

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.— Keiser University will honor the trailblazing women who have profoundly impacted Florida and the nation in March with the re-launch of its Faces of Leadership Campaign. The initiative celebrates the remarkable achievements and ongoing commitment of Keiser University’s female graduates, staff members, and community partners across pivotal sectors such as nursing, healthcare, information technology, education, and homeland security.

Originating in 2022, the Faces of Leadership campaign was conceived to commend the pivotal roles Keiser University women leaders play in fostering societal progress, educational excellence, and workforce development. This year, the university is set to honor an even broader spectrum of participants, including students, staff, alumnae, and community collaborators, while showcasing their dedication, perseverance, and significant contributions to leadership.

“At Keiser University, we take immense pride in our diverse female trailblazers who come from every corner of life to pioneer community leadership,” said Belinda Keiser, Vice Chancellor. “Our long-standing commitment to nurturing women’s educational and career aspirations has enabled countless individuals to ascend to leadership positions in critical industries across Florida and the nation.”

According to research by BestColleges.com, 55 percent of undergraduate students were women during the fall 2023 semester. Amid this shifting educational landscape, Keiser University stands out with its 73 percent female student body. The university’s unique educational model and student-centric approach provide unparalleled opportunities for women and working mothers, empowering them with the tools needed for success in dynamic and traditionally male-dominated fields like information technology, cybersecurity, and homeland security.

In addition to its focus on training women in emerging industries, Keiser University is one of the top producers of nursing and allied health graduates in Florida. Since 2017, the University has graduated more than 3,700 nurse professionals, contributing to the state’s dire need for a larger allied health workforce.

Keiser’s commitment to its female learners extends beyond its academic degree programs to ensure they’re creating positive outcomes in their lives. Since 2019, Keiser University has consistently ranked as one of the top universities in the U.S. for providing upward, social mobility to students by U.S. News & World Report, including earning the No. 1 spot in 2022-23. As part of the fabric of Florida’s workforce, the University also works with more than 1,000 industry advisors and employer partners across the state to help place highly trained graduates into leading roles in their communities.

Designed to launch in March in conjunction with Women’s History Month, Keiser University’s Faces of Leadership will take place throughout 2024. Information about the University’s women leaders will be shared on Keiser’s official social media accounts using the hashtag #FacesofLeadership.
