Accounting Program Accreditation
The following accounting programs at Keiser University-Ft. Lauderdale Campus and its off-campus instructional sites hold separate accounting accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP): Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Master of Accountancy. The Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting is accredited by ACBSP for business, and the Associate of Arts in Accounting is not within the scope of specialized accreditation from ACBSP.

The Associate of Arts in Accounting introduces students to the accounting concepts and skills needed for an entry-level accounting position. The program focuses on financial accounting, federal taxation, and hands-on learning of office applications and accounting software.

The Bachelor of Arts in Accounting helps students develop a foundation in accounting, ethics, business, analytical and communication skills required to succeed in a modern professional environment. Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for Florida’s Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam.
