The mission of the combined Master of Science in Nutrition with Distance Learning Internship (MSDI) program is the preparation of entry-level registered dietitian nutritionists. The program will educate tomorrow’s dietetic professionals who will serve as leaders for the dietetic profession committed to evidence-based practice in the care of patients and the public. The program will provide an interprofessional practicums building on the educational foundation from the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD). The didactic knowledge gained during the MSDI will enhance the student understanding and application of nutrition and dietetics from a domestic and global prescriptive.
