Keiser University’s Flagship campus recently welcomed members of law enforcement, guest presenters, and local School District of Palm Beach County (SDPBC) Choice Program and Criminal Justice Academy students to its Criminal Justice Day program.
Under the leadership of Professor and Criminal Justice and Forensics Concentration Department Program Director Scott Addlesberger and colleagues, the event was designed to highlight the many opportunities for service in the field. It included a mock crime scene for learners to analyze, recruiting and information forums, a Breathalyzer vehicle, K-9 and motorcycle demonstrations, SWAT trucks and gear, a bomb squad, and a variety of other interactive opportunities to learn about the field.
Keiser University thanks all of its participating partners for the successful effort including its instructors who bring real-world experience to the classrooms, as many are active or prior serving law enforcement members from a variety of fields.
