Audience members were thankful to gain advice relating to the importance of embracing opportunities and fostering leadership through kindness and transparency in the workplace, how passion can spur change and contagious energy, the importance of supporting others in the field, and more.

While encouraging students to pursue their goals wholeheartedly, she reminded them of the many opportunities in sports beyond playing and coaching. She also sent her appreciation to leadership team members Dr. Gary Vonk, Dr. Jenny Peluso, and Enrique Suarez along with Sports Management program colleagues Justin Harmon, Anthony Hilliard, and Dr. Dusko Bogdanov, and Cinematic Arts program colleague Samantha Kountz.
